For the first time, we had a significant number of galleries at an important event in London. There were 3 Latitude galleries at the premiere of the Frieze Masters fair, 5 at the Frieze Art Fair and 1 gallery participating in the Moving Image video fair.
Due to London's central role as window to the international art market, we promoted a high-quality debate in the auditorium of the Brazilian Embassy. The debate was included in the fair's VIP program and it received a large audience. Entitled "New Territories of Brazilian Contemporary Art", it featured lecturers Jochen Volz (Inhotim/Serpentine Gallery) and Tanya Barson (Tate Modern) and was moderated by Kiki Mazzuchelli, a Brazilian-born curator based in London. This event was followed by the book release of "Contemporary Art Brazil," conceived by French-British collector and patron of the arts, Catherine Petitgas.
