Latitude – Platform for Brazilian Art Galleries Abroad, a partnership between ABACT [Brazilian Association of Contemporary Art] and Apex-Brasil [Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency], is delighted to support the participation of over a dozen galleries from Brazil at three art fairs in Miami over the course of December.

Art Basel - OVR: Miami Beach
Twelve Latitude member galleries will take part in this year’s very first virtual edition of Art Basel in Miami. Running from December 4 to 6, 2020, with VIP Preview days from December 2 to 4, 2020, OVR: Miami Beach will feature 255 galleries from 30 countries and territories. The online viewing rooms will be complemented by a series of conversations, gallery walk-throughs and virtual events. Participating galleries from Brazil via Latitude include A Gentil Carioca (Rio de Janeiro), Bergamin&Gomide (São Paulo), Casa Triângulo (São Paulo), Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel (São Paulo), Galeria Luisa Strina (São Paulo), Mendes Wood DM (São Paulo), Galeria Millan (São Paulo), Galeria Nara Roesler (São Paulo), Galeria Kogan Amaro (São Paulo), Simões de Assis Galeria (Curitba / São Paulo), Galeria Vermelho (São Paulo) and Central Galeria (São Paulo).
UNTITLED, ART Miami Beach
Portas Vilaseca Galeria (Rio de Janeiro) and Zipper Galeria (São Paulo) will represent Brazil at UNTITLED, ART Miami Beach, an international, curated contemporary art fair where galleries, artist-run exhibition spaces and non-profit institutions and organizations are selected by a curatorial team. UNTITLED, ART Miami Beach will take place virtually from December 2 to 6, 2020.
PINTA MIAMI LIVE
The 2020 edition of PINTA MIAMI LIVE runs from December 2 to 15, 2020 with around 100 galleries from Latin America, the United States and Europe, presenting artworks from over 300 artists. As one of the main references of art from Latin America for collectors, professionals, museums, and institutions, this year’s digital platform offers unprecedented access to free curatorial content and projects with international curators showcasing art from Latin America with a global perspective. For this edition, the participating galleries from Brazil via Latitude are Galeria Berenice Arvani (São Paulo), Simone Cadinelli Arte Contemporânea (Rio de Janeiro), Galeria Zagut (Rio de Janeiro) and Mul.ti.plo Espaço Arte (Rio de Janeiro).
Brazilian galleries at international online art fairs
Latitude has been proud to support the participation of its member galleries at select international art fairs since the project was created in 2007. Support to galleries comes in the form of funding operational and promotional costs, depending on each gallery’s level of structure, internationalization and particular needs.
