Between December 1 and 6, 2015, Miami welcomed 21 participant galleries of Latitude Project, in five art fairs in the city.


Considered the most important fair of Latin American art, Art Basel in Miami Beach, main business platform for Brazilian galleries abroad, featured eleven Latitude galleries in its main sector: A Gentil Carioca, Casa Triângulo, DAN Galeria, Galeria Fortes Vilaça, Galeria Luisa Strina, Galeria Raquel Arnaud, Luciana Brito Galeria, Mendes Wood DM, Galeria Millan, Galeria Nara Roesler and Vermelho. Anita Schwartz Galeria de Arte, Galeria Leme and Silvia Cintra + Box4 where in the fair's Nova sector, while SIM Galeria took a Romy Pocztaruk installation to the Positions sector.


Galeria Pilar participated for the third consecutive time in Untitled, which this year also included the participation of Brazilian Central Galeria de Arte and Baró Galeria. Sergio Gonçalves Galeria was at Art Scope, and Mercedes Viegas Arte Contemporânea could be found at Pinta Miami. Paralelo Gallery participated in Context Art Miami, Art Miami's sister fair, dedicated to emerging and mid-career artists.


Several exhibitions and events in Miami included artists represented by Latitude galleries.


Works by Maria Nepomuceno (A Gentil Carioca), Marina Rheingantz (Galeria Fortes Vilaca), Solange Person (Mendes Wood DM) and Sonia Gomes (Mendes Wood DM) could be found in the exhibition "No Man's Land", at the Rubell Family Collection. The De la Cruz collection also featured works by artist Alex Katz (Luciana Brito Galeria) in the "You've Got to Know the Rules ... to Break Them" exhibition. The program of talks at Art Basel in Miami Beach included Paulo Nazareth (Mendes Wood DM) participating in the roundtable "The artist as a slow traveler", mediated by Hans Ulrich Obrist. Valeska Soares (Galeria Fortes Vilaca) launched eponymous book, in conversation with curator Jens Hoffmann, and Cuban artist Carlos Garaicoa (Galeria Luisa Strina) talked about "New role for art in Cuba" with Iliana Cepero Amador's mediation.


Antonio Dias (Galeria Nara Roesler) launched a book at the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation - CIFO, and artists André Komatsu (Vermelho), Carla Chaim (Raquel Arnaud) and Gabriel Acevedo (Leme) participated in the group exhibition "Again for the first time", at Durban Segnini Gallery.
