Art Immersion Trip

Due to contributions from partners, it was possible to procure sufficient financial support for the arrival of a large group of 22 international guests. This activity included visits to two destinations: the 30th Bienal de São Paulo and the second edition of the ArtRio fair.

During the days they spent in São Paulo, the guests visited all 24 Latitude galleries in the city. They also had the opportunity to stop by institutions, private collections and alternative spaces, and visited the Bienal, personally welcomed by Venezuelan curator Luis Pérez-Oramas.

As part of the official schedule of panels at ArtRio, the Latitude staff presented the Sectorial Survey during a debate realized between researcher and consultant Dr. Ana Letícia Fialho and guest speaker, French sociologist Alain Quemin. This was the first public presentation of this work that has since become a benchmark of reliable data on the sector for a variety of publications and studies.
